Shipping Method Update Effective December 12

There has been a change to our Economy shipping method.

Until now, Economy shipments were sent via Registered Mail.

However, going forward, they will be shipped via e-Packet Light (Japan Post), which means a signature will no longer be required upon delivery. 

Your package will be delivered directly to your mailbox, and tracking will be available.

For Standard Shipping (EMS), a signature will still be required upon delivery, just as before.

There are no changes to the shipping fees.

Upcoming Restock of Gold Mirror Polarized Lenses (Improved Version)

We are currently in the process of improving our Gold Mirror Polarized Lenses.

Starting with the next batch, we will be changing the base lens color to brown, making them a better functional alternative to Oakley’s Gold Iridium lenses.

This adjustment will bring the specifications closer to those of Oakley’s Gold Iridium.

The lenses are currently out of stock, but we expect to restock around July 2th.

At the same time, we will also be restocking the Turquoise Blue Polarized Lenses, which are currently sold out.

JULIET Plasma / Emerald Sample Lenses Have Arrived!

Hello, everyone!

Let me introduce our new product, the "Emerald" lens.

We’ve received many requests to create lenses in the same color as Emerald Iridium. While there were several opportunities to move forward with production, global events like COVID-19 and the Ukraine conflict heavily impacted LINEGEAR’s operations, delaying the product's development.

However, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve finally been able to create it.

Recently, the samples arrived.

In the image below, the upper JULIET features the original Emerald Iridium lenses, while the lower JULIET shows the Emerald lenses we’ve developed at LINEGEAR.

The official release is planned for December 5th.

Here’s some additional information:

When you hear "Emerald," you might think of the Ichiro model. While the lenses on the Ichiro model are indeed Emerald, they are technically called Emerald Slate.

Although similar to the regular Emerald Iridium lenses found on Plasma JULIETs, the base lens transmission rates are different:

Emerald Slate (Transmission rate: 25%) - Features a slightly lighter base lens.

Regular Emerald Iridium (Transmission rate: ~10%) - Found on Plasma JULIETs.

The mirror color is identical, but the transmission rates set them apart.

When deciding on the transmission rate for our new lenses, we considered whether to align with the Ichiro model or the regular Emerald lenses. Ultimately, we opted for a balance, setting the rate at approximately 14%.

These lenses feature a robust mirror coating that prevents visibility of the eyes, but they are about 4% brighter than the original Emerald lenses.

We hope this explanation provides clarity.

Additionally, we’ll also be producing polarized lenses this time! This means we’ll offer both regular Emerald lenses and polarized Emerald lenses. The material used will be polycarbonate.

Suspension of International Mail to Israel and Libya

Due to the recent worsening situation in Israel and Libya, along with the suspension of flights, Japan Post has currently halted all deliveries to these countries.

Due to the reasons mentioned above, Standard shipping is not possible to the aforementioned countries, and only Express shipping will be available.
Standard shipping cannot be excluded from the webshop's options due to system constraints. Therefore, even if Economy shipping is selected, the Express shipping fee will be automatically applied. Please take note of this.
