This service is available only for the X-METAL XX TiO2 (1st Generation) frame.
Please make sure to check your frame carefully before placing an order.

X-METAL XX TiO2 (1st Generation) Frame

• Only the orbitals (lens housings) are painted; the nose bridge and stems are finished in X-Metal color.

• Frames with serial numbers starting with “XT” and without the letters “A” or “B” after the numbers are considered 1st Generation.

• From the 2nd Generation onward, the orbitals are not painted but instead polished and finished in Plasma color.

This frame features a combination of dark gray and matte silver (painted) colors.

Nose bridge tuning + frame (orbital) repainting with Cerakote + nose bridge and stems refinished in their original color through anodizing.

About Ceramic Coating

Along with the nose bridge tuning, the frame is given a ceramic coating.
The nose bridge and arms are super-refinished in X-Metal color, while the orbitals are treated with a silver ceramic coating—restoring the frame to a like-new condition.

What is Cerakote™?

Cerakote™ is a ceramic-based coating that combines exceptional hardness with a flexible film. It offers outstanding resistance to wear, impact, salt, corrosion, high temperatures, solvents, chemicals, and weathering. In addition, it provides benefits such as heat dissipation, thermal insulation, and lubrication.

Cerakote™ is widely recognized as a U.S. military-approved coating and is used for various firearms and military equipment.

Through ceramic coating, frames that have developed stains or discoloration on the surface after years of use can be restored to a condition that is nearly like new.

The images below show actual frames that have been treated with Cerakote.

The color tone and the slightly textured finish of the material are reproduced to closely match the original 1st Generation TiO2 color.

• The serial number will remain intact.
• The turnaround time is approximately 1.5 to 2 months after we receive your frame.

Please note that the delivery time may vary slightly depending on our current workload. We appreciate your understanding.

Nose Bridge Tune-Up

We will replace the temple washers, nose bridge flex couplers, and nose bridge pins with new parts (the prices for these parts are included in the service fee).

After completing this service, your frame will function like new. We will resolve any looseness in the nose bridge and arm parts.

Please place your order as you would a normal order, adding this service to your shopping cart.

If you purchased lenses, rubber parts, or any other components at the same time, please indicate in the remarks section whether you would like us to attach them.

We will change these parts at no additional cost! (There will be no extra attachment fee.)

After You Place Your Order

Once you have placed your order, please send your frame to us. The shipping address is provided below.

Please declare the value of your package lower and describe it as "Used Sunglasses for Repair" on the shipping label to avoid import taxes.

We ask for your cooperation on this point, as declaring your frame incorrectly as merchandise on the shipping label may incur high import taxes for receiving your frame.

Please pay the shipping fee when you send your frame to us. Also, if you send the product and it does not reach us, we are not responsible for it, so please use a shipping method with a tracking number.

We will complete this service approximately 1 month. Once finished, we will send your frame back via EMS and provide you with a tracking number.

Additional Information

When sending your frame to us, there’s no need to remove any parts; we will handle the removal and replacement ourselves. If you purchase other parts along with your order, we will combine them and ship them back together with the tune-up services.

Please note that we are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The estimated time to complete this service does not include our holidays.
