The lens features a clear base with a red mirror coating.
Because it is a clear lens combined with a red mirror, the appearance in its non-photochromic state resembles “Ruby Clear.”
Light transmission: 75%
When the photochromic effect activates, the red mirror becomes more pronounced, giving the lens a stronger red appearance.
Light transmission: 18%
The front surface is treated with a premium hydrophobic (super water-repellent) coating, which is higher grade than standard water-repellent coatings.
In short, the lens appears as Ruby Clear when not activated, and transitions to a reddish Fire-style tone when activated.

Reaction speed:
The speed at which the lens changes color depends on temperature and UV intensity. In cold conditions, the transition may be slower.
Driving:
Car windshields block UV light, so the lenses may not fully darken inside a vehicle. For this reason, drivers may still need a separate pair of sunglasses.
