X-METAL Frame Lens Replacement Instructions

Due to years of use, screws may become rusted and difficult to remove. Attempting to force them may result in stripping the screw heads, making the replacement process even more challenging. Therefore, please exercise caution and perform the replacement procedure carefully.

If you find that you cannot remove the screws, please contact our store. If you can send your frame to our store, we can remove any type of screw for you.

Lens replacement is a simple process that involves removing the screws with a T6 screwdriver, replacing the lens, and then tightening the screws again. The difficulty of this task is not particularly high.
However, over years of use, the gasket (the rubber part sandwiched between the frames) may become compressed, so it is recommended to replace it during the lens replacement procedure.

ROMEO1 Lens Replacement Instructions

Similarly, for ROMEO1 lens replacement, you can use a T6 screwdriver to remove the screws, replace the lens, and then tighten the screws to complete the process.

ROMEO1 has a unique frame structure, so attaching the lens, sandwiching the gasket between the frame, and tightening the screws again can be a bit challenging, but it is within the scope of tasks that you can handle yourself.

ROMEO2 Lens Replacement Instructions

ROMEO2 features an O-ring (rubber ring) as a cushion between the lens and the frame. When you remove the lens, this O-ring will also come off, so please replace it with a new one during the lens replacement.

※Not using the O-ring when attaching the lens can cause the lens to not be securely fixed within the frame, leading to wobbling.

To remove the orbital screw on ROMEO2, you will need a hex wrench.

Please note!!

If you tighten the lens too tightly, it may become distorted, potentially leading to discomfort in your vision and headaches. To maintain a stress-free and natural field of vision, please take care not to overtighten the screws.

We recommend using the gasket as a cushion and tightening the screws gently to prevent the lens from coming loose or falling off.
